Respected Principal, teachers, and my dear friends,I, Dibyendu Kala, stand before you today to express my heartfelt gratitude to my beloved school, South Point Institute. This institution has been my second home from Class 4 to Class 12, Every moment in these nine years of a wonderful journey taught me priceless lessons, shaping not only my academic journey but also the person I’ve become.Choosing the Commerce stream in Class XII was a turning point for me, and the guidance I received from my teachers helped me discover my passion for Accounting and Finance. Today, I feel proud to share that I am currently pursuing B.Com (Honours) with Research in Accounting and Finance at Umesh Chandra College, College Street, under Calcutta University. The strong foundation built in school continues to guide me in this new chapter of my life.South Point Institute has not only given me knowledge but also values, confidence, and discipline. The various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities I participated in have helped me immensely in college and in different fields of life. They taught me teamwork, leadership, time management, and the importance of overall development.As I work towards my goal of building a strong future in the field of Accounting and Finance, I carry with me every lesson, memory, and blessing from this institution.Thank you, South Point Institute, for shaping my dreams and giving me the wings to achieve them.
